Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Industry Board. (ACRIB) EC Regulation No. 842/2006 on Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases came into force on 4 July 2007. This legislation requires ALL Refrigeration Engineers to complete a mandatory program of training & certification. WTS Engineers already hold qualifications that meet the requirements and are Registered Refrigerant Handlers with ACRIB.

REFCOM Register. From 4 July 2009 it became a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain F gas refrigerants to obtain an F gas Company Certificate.
REFCOM is the Dept. of Environment designated mandatory F gas company certification scheme that can issue stationary equipment qualification company certificates (full certificates) and interim certificates in GB and Northern Ireland. WTS are F gas certified & are registered with REFCOM.
